Dell has released the Inspiron 1525 notebook in the form of Blu-ray drive in two different versions. The first model comes with a combo drive, capable of reading Blu-ray- discs and burn DVD. The presence of such an option will increase the cost of the laptop for 250 USD. You can also purchase the Inspiron with a full drive capable of recording a DVD, and Blu-ray. For this option will pay a premium of $ 450. Representatives from Dell say that the Inspiron 1525 laptop with Blu-ray will be possible to watch the video in HD quality even when using conventional integrated graphics chipset.
This was achieved thanks to Broadcom Media PC technology. The laptop has a 15.4- inch screen, built on the platform Intel Santa Rosa, has HDMI-out, the Core 2 Duo, Pentium or Celeron processor and graphics card GMA X3100 ( also from Intel). The weakest, base model Inspiron 1525 laptop with Blu-ray combo drive running on the Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 with a frequency of 1.83 GHz and costs only 880 U.S. dollars.
