Sharp Company began selling the new Willcom D4 UMPC. It is equipped with the latest generation of processors from Intel with a clock frequency of 1.3 GHz ( obviously, this Atom) and a touch screen with a diagonal of 5 inches and a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. In addition, the UMPC has 1GB of RAM, 2 megapixel camera, WiFi and Bluetooth EDR, a slot for memory card standard microSD, mono speaker and a 1.8-inch HDD to 40 GB.
Willcom D4 comes with a preinstalled Windows Vista operating system. Dimensions of novelty are 188h84h25, 9 mm, and weight - only 470 grams. It is the most compact UMPC, and thus has a full qwerty-keyboard. It can also be used as a phone or a GPS-navigator ( navigation software included). The price for Willcom D4 is 1300 U.S. dollars. It will be sold only in Japan.
